Texas Mesquite Cutting Board with Carved Finger Hole

A solid Texas mesquite cutting board with deep, warm grain and a live edge that preserves the natural character of the wood. A thin check running through the surface has been filled with black food-safe epoxy — a subtle detail that strengthens the board while adding a refined contrast to the rich mesquite tones.

Every board in our shop is hand-sanded to a smooth, silky finish, then hand-oiled and finished with a final coat of board butter to condition the wood before it leaves our shop. Because each piece is cut from solid mesquite with its own natural grain pattern, every piece tells its own story.

Care: Hand wash and dry immediately after use. Board butter and oil are a surface conditioning treatment, not a permanent seal — re-oil regularly (every few weeks with regular use) with a food-safe mineral oil or board butter to keep the wood nourished and looking its best.
